Observations Group 7

 This is Group #7.

Day 1: All we really did today were the cuts. My group cut 6 planarian in

four parts as you can see in the picture below. After we cut the planarian,

the heads were the most active and then the tails. The middle parts didn't

really move.

Day 2: All the parts of the body are moving. The head is acting like a body.

Couple of them died. Most of them are stuck on the walls of the peach tree

dish.

Day 3: Like i said many times, the head is the most active part of the body.

Again, a couple of the, were not able to survive and died.

Day 5: In one container, all but the head had died out. Like stated in my

hypothesis, they'll probably die out before it is able to regenerate. The water

smelled really bad after the planarians died. We moved 2 heads together into

1 container.

Day 8: All the planarians that had survived had regenerated. The size of

them are not as big as they used to be, but it has a tail and two eyes.

Day 10: Every planarian but one has a head. They all vary in size. Some

are long, and others are shorter. One of the planarian is cross eyed.

Day 12: There are 7 regenerated planarians in the 1st trey, 8 planarians in

the 2nd, and 3 planarians in the 3rd. They all regenerated significantly, and it

seems that the number of the planarians increased.

Day 15: There are same numbers of planarians in each trey as said in Day

12. None of them died, but some seem to be bigger than others.
